AFTER FOREVER Guitarist Answers Fans' Questions

August 7, 2007

AFTER FOREVER guitarist Sander Gommans has answered several fan questions via the band's official web site. The brief question-and-answer session follows:

Q: How probable it is to see AFTER FOREVER one day in Serbia? I've heard some rumours about certain promoters here having some issues about your management, but don't know if they are true.

Gommans: "As far as I know, concrete offers haven't been made yet."

Q: What about writing some songs in Dutch?

Gommans: "Well, I had the idea to record a few in Dutch, unfortanately (previous label) Transmission refused to cooperate. For the new songs it would be a possibility, but it's no priority now."

Q: Besides rock/metal subgenres, which music genres do you like to listen?

Gommans: "Pop music, mostly Eighties pop, sometimes movie scores and Spanish guitar music."

Q: Will you ever make an AFTER FOREVER unplugged concert?

Gommans: "That's a great challenge, and I think it's a good idea. However, focusing on the heavy side of AFTER FOREVER is my goal right now, but you never know."

Q: Is there any news about the upcoming single? Have you already shot a video?

Gommans: "I'll be announcing the new single soon. We already shot some material during the live show where we also recorded the 'Discord' video."

AFTER FOREVER will embark on a North American tour in October.

AFTER FOREVER's video for its new single, "Energize Me", has been posted online at YouTube.com. The clip was shot in February in Amsterdam, Holland. The "Energize Me" single was released on March 23, featuring the songs "Energize Me" (radio edit),"Energize Me" (album version),"Sweet Enclosure" (non-album track).

AFTER FOREVER's new self-titled album was released in Germany on April 20 via Nuclear Blast Records.
